History:
In 1975 Bærum Diving Club got their first norwegian champion. Dick S. Voght was one of three divers that made the foundation for the club's success through the 80's and the beginning of the 90's. Together with Vidar Langaas and Harald Skådin they built Bærum Diving Club to one of the best clubs in the country. The professional environment attracted young divers from other clubs - Frode Lund was one of them, and he developed to be a world class diver. Today the club is still one of the best in Norway, and one of the largest. Bærum Diving Club has several norwegian and nordic champions, and has attendents in both european and world championship - as well as in the Olympic Games. The club has approximately 200 members.
Bærum Diving Club 2008: After the reopening of Nadderudhallen the club's story has been a true success. We have a professional working diving school at beginners and intermediate levels, and 4 training groups on different levels. At Bærum Diving Club diving is fun !
